We used high-quality Pima cotton from "Kaihara Denim," a world-renowned Japanese denim manufacturer, to create a superior denim kimono. Pima cotton is a rare material, considered one of the world's top three cottons. Its suppleness and durability ensure it will be loved for years to come.
Furthermore, this high-quality denim fabric is tailored by artisans in Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture, who inherit the historical techniques of Yonezawa-ori. Their reliable skills achieve both comfort and a beautiful silhouette.
Additionally, it has been finished to an exquisite thickness, allowing comfortable wear for most of the year, excluding midsummer.

This is a premium denim kimono made with high-quality Kaihara denim from Japan.
The fine yet strong extra-long staple cotton provides a supple feel against the skin and excellent durability.
It's a high-quality garment that you can enjoy for many years to come.
Hand-painted items are carefully drawn by Yuzen artisans using special solvents and pigments that are resistant to fading.
However, because they are delicate to friction, we recommend hand-washing to prevent loss of shape and fabric damage.
*If using a washing machine
● Turn inside out and place in a net bag.
● Wash separately from other garments (to prevent color transfer).
● Do not tumble dry.
Denim kimonos are made from natural fibers, so they may shrink slightly when wet (by approximately 3cm).
Additionally, due to measurement methods and individual differences between products, the actual size may vary slightly from the indicated size.

● The applicable size is a guideline. (Fit may vary depending on body type and how it is worn.)
● Due to the nature of denim dyeing, color may transfer due to friction.
● The color will gradually fade with each wash, and the texture will change. Please enjoy this as an aging process.
