This denim kimono is tailored to a higher standard, using high-quality Pima cotton from "Kaihara Denim," a world-renowned Japanese denim manufacturer. Pima cotton is a rare material, counted as one of the world's top three cottons. Its suppleness and durability ensure it will be cherished for a long time.
Furthermore, this high-quality denim fabric is tailored by artisans in Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture, who inherit the techniques of the historic Yonezawa-ori weaving tradition. Their reliable skills have resulted in a comfortable fit and beautiful silhouette.
Additionally, it has been finished to an exquisite thickness, allowing for comfortable wear throughout a long season, excluding the peak of summer.
The logo mark is subtly embroidered on the back in black thread as an "sharemon" (playful crest).

Hand-painted items are carefully painted by Yuzen artisans using special solvents and pigments that are resistant to fading. However, as they are susceptible to friction, hand washing is recommended to prevent deformation and damage to the fabric.

● Wash separately from other clothes (to prevent color transfer)
● Do not tumble dry
